Dream Box of The Fates Workshops

The Dream Box has been a strong implement of enlightened individuals since the beginning of time. It is Julia's hope to show that within us all is an artist just waiting to discover their muse. It is also her personal mission to encourage and experience recycling as an artistic endeavor! So in concert- we will recycle and create for personal pleasure and spiritual reward. Youwill explore how images and words from magazines and books incorporated with found objects and elements from your own hidden corners can express powerful thoughts, hopes and feelings; so powerful, as to energize those images into reality! You will create your very own original piece of art and a working tool of personal inspiration.

Our work shop will be a joyful and peaceful experience. No pressure allowed! Pleasant and relaxing music will be played. Passages from Summoning The Fates by Z. Budapest will be read along with other creators' important thought provoking ideas through out the experience as spiritual and artful inspiration.

There will be a break half way through your workshop of three hours.

Supplies You Will Need To Bring

one twelve inch ruler

small container white glue

1 or 2 hard wood or card board cigar boxes

2-3 small(1/8 inch) medium(1/4 inch)/large(1'2 inch) paint brushes

1 black sharpee

small scissors or an exacto knife for paper cutting

4 butter tubs

black, white and red acrylic water base paint

1 roll of paper towels

Next

Go through your photographs, fabric remnants, gift cards, magazine images, buttons, bows, ribbon, lace, leather, hardware, software, broken jewelry and china, tree bark, seeds, dried or silk flowers, dried leaves, sea shells and of course Sparkle!

Please bring with you any Findings you'd like to adhere to your box regarding YOUR Dreams.

Julia will bring glue guns, blow driers, special fixatives, extra and special tools, magazines, books, photos and additional supplies.
